Is President Barack Obama still dragging on cancer sticks?

So what’s up with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and, are her days numbered in the Obama administration? That is the question political pundits and commentators on the left and right are asking, now that she has called the CIA liars.

Nobody in American politics is going to tolerate that kind of name calling, especially in a news conference, and you can bet the person at the top of that list President Obama himself.

Why the President would keep Ms Pelosi in his administration is beyond me, especially now that it has come to light that she was more than a little aware of enhanced torture techniques being used to interrogate suspected terrorists, and that she has been lying about it all along.

If anybody should be called a liar, it’s Ms. Pelosi herself, who by the way; is, or was, demanding that certain individuals in the former Bush administration be brought to justice for using the aforementioned ‘enhanced torture techniques’.

I guess she should be held accountable too, but you won’t hear her agreeing to that, now will you?

There is little doubt in my mind that she played a role in condoning such torture tactics, and if she is calling for former Vice-President Dick Cheney to front up to face charges for the use of waterboarding, or any other torture techniques, then she too should be forced to front up.

The way I see it, the House Speaker is speaking out of both sides of her mouth now, and instead of sticking it to the Republicans with this ‘torture BS’, she is kind of sticking it to the Democrats.

She certainly isn’t helping their cause, or in the court of public opinion, not with the way she has been carrying on of late.

She has become a liability to the Obama administration, and if Democrats are smart, they will be seeking to have her removed from her very powerful role now, not a couple of months from now, but right now.  The sooner the better. Stand her down now so that the healing process between the CIA and the Whitehouse can begin immediately.

By the way, terrorist leader have to be loving this story, huh.

There is little doubt in my mind that President Obama is at this very moment, pondering the idea of cutting Ms Pelosi off at the knees, kicking her to kerb so to speak and ridding himself of the cancer causing Ms Pelosi before his cigarette smoking causes him cancer. Anybody have any doubts about that, especially those of you who support the Democrats?

My opinion; she’s done like dinner.

The CIA called her out on her BS and in an effort to save face, the arrogant and holier-than-thou Ms Pelosi is lashing out in defense. She has been caught out as one of the perpetrators in her own crusade against the use of waterboarding by the Bush administration, and now she is going to spend the rest of however long it takes the torture issue to be resolved, re-establishing her credibility by mudslinging and pointing fingers across the floor, and at the CIA.

I don’t know, but if I was Nancy Pelosi, I don’t think I would be wanting to take on the CIA. Who knows what they might find in Ms Pelosi past.

She has been caught in a lie and this after demanding that certain individuals in the Bush administration, namely anybody who had a hand in protecting America from further terrorist attacks, be charged with some sort of sort of criminal wrongdoing.

I think it’s time Ms Pelosi be taken down a peg or two, and the only person in a real position to do that, is the commander-in-chief.

Say, have you seen what went down in her latest press conference?

She said she wasn’t briefed about waterboarding, and then she said she was briefed, and then she had the balls to say that the CIA mislead congress. She was certainly on the defensive, and if ever there was a moment for someone’s credibility to be questioned, what went down in that press conference certainly brought Ms Pelosi’s credibility as a government official into question, not that of the Obama administration. She is but one person in that party, albeit a very powerful one, and while she has been caught out in a lie, that doesn’t necessarily mean that everybody else who attended the CIA’s debriefings is supporting what she is saying.

I haven’t really heard about anybody coming forward, and backing up her claim that she didn’t know what was going down as far as the use of waterboarding goes, but if she does have supporters, where the bloody are they?

The only way for Ms Pelosi to save face now is to waive her congressional immunity, and lump herself into the pool of CIA officials and Bush administration officials she is demanding to be prosecuted.

That said…If she isn’t willing to do that, stick a fork in her Mr. President, because Nancy Pelosi is done otherwise.
