1361 Days Left of Democratic Mayhem Left in U.S.
It has now been 100 days since the first African-American was given the keys to the White House, and what a 100 days it has been for Barrack Hussein Obama, the first U.S. President to ever apologize for the way America is and behaves on the international scene. Who old enough to comprehend the English language will ever forget what I think has been the highlight of President Obama’s first 100 days in office?
The apology kinda sorta went like this: On behalf of the 300+ million people of the United States of America, I must apologize for our arrogance, our heavy handedness, and last but certainly not least, our holier-than-thou attitude. Yeah-right Barack baby, next time say it like you mean it mate, but nice of you to apologize for your country being a-holes on the international front.
Talk about kissing ass.
Nothing like a U.S. President sticking his nose into the crack between Europe’s ‘glutes’ to score a few brownie points in front of NATO in the hope that they (NATO) would see things Obama’s way, and give into his demand for more troops than they were offering to send into the ‘global war on terror’ in Afghanistan, which brings me to the next ‘Obamaccomplishment’ that has taken place during the past 100 Obamadaze, the renaming of the ‘global war on terror.’
Yeah that’s right, in order to improve America’s international image, the ‘Obama-man’ thought it would be cool to give the war in Afghanistan another more palatable name.
The ‘global war on terror’ moniker has now been changed to the ‘Overseas Contingency Operation.’ It doesn’t have that snappy kind of ring to it, but if it helps in disguising what the war in Afghanistan really is (it doesn’t by the way), then good on the Obama administration. But just so you know, the war in Afghanistan will always be known as the ‘war on terror,’ if only because of 9/11.
Now how about the multi-trillion dollar deficit the Obama administration has helped plunged the U.S. into after consultations with Tim Geitner, a man many U.S. political pundits on both sides (left and right) of the political spectrum, and Wall Street, feel has been given a job he isn’t he capable of doing, saving the American economy. During his first 100 days, he hasn’t done much, evidence of that lying in the fact that the only thing that has changed during those 100 days is history. Wondering if he has been able to fill those vacancies in his office yet, or is he still ‘a one-man show’ kind of guy?
The deficit has risen by how much again since tax evader Tim Geitner was named to head up Obama’s economic team. A few trillion right, and for what, to prolong the inevitable collapse of the entire economical system Americans have grown to love and accept since the Great Depression.
After 100 days of Geitner, it is pretty safe to assume that the newborn child of today will be paying off that multi-trillion dollar debt well in to his or her sixties, maybe even into their nineties, if in fact the deficit is ever paid down in their lifetime.
One thing is for sure, American kids of today will be paying off that debt until the day they die, and the worst part of it is, those same kids when they are old enough to get married, will find that having kids of their own is going to be expensive, and they will opt out of the ‘raising a family’ dream.
Procreation is going to suffer big time with a deficit this size.
Can you say dwindling taxpayer base? You can bet in a few decades that the headline will read, “World population isn’t growing at pace was expected, personal taxes to rise to offset small taxpayer base.”
I think America had better get used to the fact that for as long as America exists, there will always be a deficit.
Perpetually ‘in the red’ is what I say. Americans will never be able to pay off the deficit the Obama administration has taken the lead in driving into the abyss of debt. There are probably a few Democrats who agree with me on that one.
Oh well.
There really hasn’t been anything eventful in the past 100 days that the Obama administration can brag about, and I think the majority of Americans concur with me on that.
Not even the hiring of Kumar to bridge the gap between Washington and Asians is worth bragging about, not unless you’re obsessed with Hollywood as much as Obama is, and you just know he is grinning from ear-to-ear knowing that there are plenty of Hollywood celebrities banging on his Oval Office door offering to help him out.
Like I said before, if Obama wants to surround himself with celebrities, he should have run for president of the Screen Actors Guild.
I don’t know what it is Obama thinks Kal Penn can do about bridging the gap between the U.S. and the Chinese, Japanese, North Koreans, South Koreans, Indonesians, Malaysians, Thais, Vietnamese, Cambodians, Burmese, Pakistanis, Afghanis, Saudi Arabians, Yemens, Omans, Iraqis, Iranians, Turks, Russians, Mongolese, and Indians (did I miss any Asians), but he should be able to ‘play’ the part of a diplomat right, after all he was a pretty good actor in House before he shot himself in the head.
Let’s hope life doesn’t imitate art while he is performing in Washington.
A dope smoking ambassador, yeah man, Kumar would make a great one of those wouldn’t he. Want to bet that Penn has, and probably still does, smoke a little bit of that whacky stuff from time to time. Do they drug test on Capitol Hill these days?
What about that episode in New York City the other day, you know, the one involving an Air Force One knock-off and two fighter jets. Whose bright idea was it to send the planes into a no-fly zone over New York City, for a photo-op with the Statue of Liberty no less? How stupid and heartless was that person, and will he still be employed by the end of the next 100 days of the Obama administration. Talk about a moron.
Word on the streets of New York is that the ‘powers that be’ thought it best not to alert New Yorkers about their plans.
That incident by far, is the stupidest thing the Obama administration has pulled off during the past 100 days.
Of course now the White House is ‘passing the buck’ on this one, claiming they knew nothing about the plan. That begs of the question, is the President being kept up-to-date with the goings on in his administration, and has he pretty much given those under his leadership free rein to do as they see fit?
Then there is House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, quick to point the finger at the former Bush administration when it comes to ‘waterboarding,’ and demanding that charges be laid, and now we find out she turned the other cheek when she was informed about the use of the waterboarding technique way back when The woman outright lied, and if there is an investigation and charges laid, she should be included in that action.
I figure she will be sent packing during the next 100 days of the Obama administration, if the President knows what is good for the Democrats, and his ‘inner circle.’
I could go on and on, but I won’t because there just aren’t enough hours in a day to criticize and poke fun at all the highlights of Obama’s first 100 days in office.
I’ll finish off by saying that if the first 100 days is anything to go by, the Obama administration has a lot of work ahead of them just to gain credibility, and four years just isn’t enough time do that.
The way it is looking now, Barack Obama is a one-term president. Thirteen-hundred-sixty-one days to go before Americans kick him to the kerb.
By the way, the honeymoon is almost over for Obama, if only because I think those ‘popularity numbers’ he is resting his laurels on, are going to start dropping in the not-so-distant future.
